The Arkansas House and Senate have voted to approve House Bill 1512 that would eliminate temporary exemptions to the work requirement for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps.
Arkansas House Bill 1460, if passed, could prohibit cities, counties or other political subdivisions of the state from enacting a requirement for licensing, certification or registration for any profession or occupation in a manner that duplicates a requirement for licensing, certification or registration that is already enacted by the state.
