The Arkansas Beef Council is currently inviting grant proposals for beef research and promotion projects. Interested parties should note that research proposals must be submitted by April 25, 2025, while promotion proposals have a deadline of April 30, 2025.

Proposals are required to be concise, not exceeding five pages. They must clearly outline the goals and objectives of the project, detail the expected benefits to the Arkansas beef industry, include a budget, and explain how accountability for the use of funds will be maintained. Additionally, only projects that will be executed during fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) will be considered.

Submissions should be made online with all necessary attachments uploaded to the application form. For further details or inquiries, Tillman Treat can be contacted at tillman.treat@agriculture.arkansas.gov or (501) 516-7946.

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture emphasizes its commitment to developing policies and programs that support agriculture, forestry, and natural resources conservation in Arkansas. The department aims to keep farmers and ranchers competitive both nationally and internationally while ensuring sustainability and safety in food production. It offers programs to all eligible individuals without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
