Arkansas Adjutant General issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.
The unsung hero who keeps everything moving and working. The past 18 months have been taxing on our Soldiers, our Airmen, and their civilian employers. We’re as busy as we’ve ever been.
If you don’t know, currently:
Our Soldiers are on state orders in Texas supporting Operation Lone Star.
Our Soldiers are on state in Louisiana helping that state recover from Hurricane Ida.
Our Soldiers are on state orders helping Arkansas Department of Health with pandemic vaccination planning.
Our Airmen are on federal orders in New Jersey and Wisconsin supporting Operation Allies Welcome as Afghan evacuees come to America.
Our Soldiers and Airmen are on federal orders in Southwest Asia, helping keep the peace and the forces of evil at bay.
To those 700 Guardsmen on orders away from their family and employer, we offer a solemn, heartfelt salute. And to the families and employers of those away on military duty, thank you for your unwavering support.
