Two residents of Lonoke County have recently claimed significant prizes from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Michael H. won $230,000 in the Natural State Jackpot drawing on April 6, which he claimed on April 14. The winning numbers for this draw were 11, 22, 23, 30, and 32, with the ticket purchased at Doublebees #131 in Lonoke. Michael regularly participates in draw games such as NSJ, Powerball, and Mega Millions.

"Well, maybe I’ll win the Natural State Jackpot tonight," Michael previously thought, and this time his hopeful expectation came to fruition. After confirming his win by checking online, Michael expressed disbelief: “It was unreal. I never thought I’d win anything like that!” Following this realization, his wife needed convincing before accepting the news. Michael plans to use his winnings to assist his daughter and settle his mortgage. The following Natural State Jackpot is set at $70,000.

Another notable winner, Moniquea P. from Lonoke County, secured $25,000 from the April 9 LOTTO drawing, claiming her prize on April 15. The winning numbers were 6, 7, 10, 19, 27, 33, and the Bonus Number was 24. Moniquea purchased the Quick Pick ticket using the Jackpocket mobile app. Initially skeptical about her fortune, she thought, "This better be real," before sharing the news with her sister. Moniquea plans to find a new home with her prize and intends to continue playing the lottery. The LOTTO jackpot will increase to $366,000 for the upcoming Saturday draw.

NSJ and LOTTO tickets can be purchased from licensed ASL retailers and through retailer apps. Further details on ticket purchasing options can be found on the ASL website.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, in operation since 2009, has sold over $7.9 billion in tickets and contributed more than $1.4 billion to scholarships for Arkansas students. The lottery has distributed more than 822,000 college scholarships. Further information on the lottery and its benefits can be accessed on the MyArkansasLottery website and its social media platforms.
