Collegiate Academy's Academic Decathlon took third place at the first competition of the season on Saturday at Penn State Behend.
The team comprises Eric Greene, Manaal Hussain, Jaceon Isaac, Journey Lewonas Gray, Sebastian Liu, Isiaih Mooney, Nariah Prude, Shelby Robinson, Kiara Saldanha, Asheen Udgiri, Tanvi Udgiri, Camren Wiley, and Jerone Yim.
The following students won medals at the event:
Tanvi Udgiri: Gold in Social Science, Bronze in Science, and Silver in Overall Team of 9
Sebastian Liu: Bronze in Science and Math
Isaiah Mooney: Silver in Math
Journey Lewonas Gray: Silver in Math and Interview
Camren Wiley: Bronze in Interview
The team won a Bronze in Super Quiz. The following students competed in Super Quiz: Shelby Robinson, Journey Lewonas Gray, Tanvi Udgiri, Sebastain Liu, Manaal Hussain, Isaiah Mooney, Jaceon Isaac, and Camren Wiley.
The team is coached by Diane Olszewski and Jeff Weiss.
