Scholarships - Finding Free Money for College Webinar. Tuesday, Sep 20, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Scholarships can be a huge help to college-bound students and their families, but many don’t know where to find them, or how to apply. During the session students and families will learn key tips on applying for scholarships, how to create a winning scholarship essay, and more. Following the webinar, there will be a Q & A session. The Women of Distinction program at Smith College "highlights the opportunities that Smith College offers for first generation, African American, Asian American, Latina and Native American students." You can find more information here.

FAFSA Week. There will be events at Collegiate Academy and at Erie High to help parents complete the FAFSA. Students must complete this form to receive federal student aid. Read the flyer for more details.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), invites Pennsylvania rising 10th -12th grade students to help keep Pennsylvania clean and beautiful through the Young Ambassadors of Pennsylvania program. The program was recommended in the commonwealth’s litter action plan, announced by Governor Wolf, in November 2021. Students will be chosen through a competitive application process. This FREE presentation will guide students and families through the financial aid process. Participants will receive information to help them better understand the requirements necessary to apply for and receive financial aid. Go here to register.
