Arkansas Access to Justice Commission issued the following announcement on April 22.
For those of you who don’t know, we hold online clinics twice per month where attorneys and law students combine forces to tackle legal questions submitted via the Free Legal Answers website. AR.freelegalanswers.org. Not only are these clinics a great way to knock out a bunch of questions in a relatively short time, they are also a great learning experience for the law students who participate.
There are a handful of attorneys who faithfully participate in these bi weekly clinics, one of which is attorney Victor Richardson. Clinic after clinic, Victor shows up (virtually) to provide critical information to FLA site users and offer valuable mentorship to participating law students.
Because of his extensive experience, Victor is well suited to answer a wide variety of questions submitted to the site.
Victor serves as Associate General Counsel at Acxiom LLC where he is lead counsel for global data and identity products. Before joining Acxiom, Victor was in private practice in Little Rock concentrating on civil litigation, family law, and estate planning and administration. Victor began his legal career as the first onsite representative at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Medical-Legal Partnership, where he addressed community health issues. From there, he was selected as a public health law fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
After completing his fellowship, he returned to Arkansas where he was an attorney with the Arkansas Legal Services Partnership and served as a law clerk for the Honorable H. Vann Smith, Pulaski County Circuit Court, 14th Division.
His accomplishments don't stop there. Victor also has a a degree in computer science and is the author of a number of publications such as, Confidentiality & the Violence Against Women Act, Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence (June 2015).
Victor is a native Arkansan, and he resides in North Little Rock with his son, dog, and two cats.
Thank you Victor!
