Collecting your unused prescription drugs for safe disposal is the #1 way to keep them out of hands where they don't belong (and out of the water system).
You can bring your leftover medications to the VBC Sheriff's Office for proper disposal, or visit this website for other local collection sites:

This April, over 420 TONS of unused prescriptions were collected across the US. The Takeback Days are a great reminder to clean out your medicine cabinet!
