Arkansas Auditor of State issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.
Arkansas USAR Task Force-1 is a group of first responders specially trained in urban search and rescue to respond to natural disasters.
A team of 45 has been sent to South Louisiana to assist the recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. I applaud each member's willingness to serve.
