Leading manufacturer of sustainable plastic solutions Revolution has announced its acquisition of Jadcore, a Terre Haute, Indiana company, which will expand Revolution's base to the Midwest while expanding its closed-looped manufacturing (CLM).

Closed-loop manufacturing is digital progress allowing companies to synchronize and optimize production with product design, planning, manufacturing execution, automation and intelligence from and for customers.

Jadcore has more than 40 years of experience with recapturing and recycling the post-industrial plastic waste which allows as an economical alternative to companies using virgin materials. This acquisition, in terms, cuts out the middleman for Revolution as the company does not have to purchase the raw or recycled plastic, as it will be implemented to a part of its CLM process.

"Jadcore has built an exceptional business rooted in sustainable solutions, best-in-class production capabilities, outstanding product quality and world-class customer service. Our shared values create an exciting opportunity for collaboration, and we feel very fortunate to welcome the Jadcore team to our Revolution family," Sean Whiteley, Revolution's CEO, said in a release

Rob Doti, Jadcore president, said that his company has recycled over two billion pounds of plastic scrap in the 40 plus years of operation. He went on to say his company's long-term growth strategy has always been to expand post-customer recycling, and "combining forces with Revolution" will allow them to do that.

"We look forward to working together, learning from their expertise and helping to contribute to their future growth and success. We are confident this merger will strengthen our combined ability to serve new end markets and deliver closed-loop collections, recycling services and manufacturing solutions rich in recycled content," Whiteley said in the release.
