One Arkansas resident has struck it big with a significant lottery win. Jerry C., from Washington County, claimed a $90,000 prize after winning the July 1 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing. He received his winnings at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on July 18.

The winning ticket was purchased at Flash Market #7182 in Van Buren, with the numbers 11, 14, 16, 20, and 21 leading to his success.

“I feel like I got hit by lightning!” Jerry exclaimed to lottery officials. “I’ve never won anything like this in my life.”

Jerry is a regular player of the NSJ and typically uses Quick Pick tickets. For the week of June 26-July 2, he maintained his usual routine and ended up with the jackpot win. He discovered his victory days later while checking his numbers online.

“Am I looking at this right?” he wondered in disbelief upon realizing his win.

With plans to donate part of his winnings and save for his grandchildren’s education fund, Jerry expressed enthusiasm about contributing to student scholarships through the lottery’s mission.

“I like that I have a general idea of where the money’s going,” he stated. “It’s absolutely worth playing if even one student could benefit.”

The current jackpot for tonight’s NSJ drawing stands at $200,000. Tickets are available at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and via apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners.
