The application period for the Transportation-Related Research & Workforce Development Grant Program (TRRWDGP) is now open. This program, established by Act 705 of 2017 and Act 884 of 2021, aims to support projects that enhance logistics, processes, materials, and methods in transportation. It also focuses on industry training and educational programs for transportation-related personnel development.

The TRRWDGP provides funding up to $500,000 annually through interest income from the State Highway and Transportation Department Fund under AR Code § 27-70-204 (2017). However, these funds cannot be used for highway improvements.

Project applications are available online at www.ardot.gov/trrwdgp/ or can be requested via email at Research@ardot.gov. For further details, interested parties can call 501-569-4922. Applications must be submitted by July 2, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., either at the specified physical address or via email.
