Arkansas residents have claimed significant prizes from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery in recent days, with three players winning top awards through instant ticket games.

Clyde H. of Pocahontas won $75,000 after purchasing a Crossword X-tra ticket at Jordan’s Kwik Stop #72 on Highway 67 South. He said he bought the $3 ticket on a whim while stopping for pizza. “I just picked something,” Clyde told lottery officials. Upon discovering his win, he shared the news with several people who were also surprised.

In Fort Smith, Johnny D. claimed a $50,000 prize playing $50,000 Stacked after buying his ticket at Casey’s #4637 on Phoenix Avenue. Johnny’s win came after a series of smaller prizes earlier in the day. He used previous winnings to purchase more tickets and ultimately took home the top prize. “Mom, I think I won big,” Johnny said. After claiming his prize at the ASL Claim Center, he is considering buying a new car.

A third winner, Eric D. from Benton County, won $50,000 with a $50,000 Stacked ticket purchased at Walmart Market #2741 in Bentonville. Eric decided to try his luck with a higher-priced game during a grocery trip with his son. He checked his ticket using the AR Lottery + Club app and realized he had won when prompted to claim his prize at the ASL Claim Center. “Whoa, this is legit!” Eric said. He plans to surprise his son with a trip but has not yet revealed the win.

According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, there are still seventy-three $50,000 top prizes remaining on the $50,000 Stacked game.

Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has sold over $8 billion in tickets and returned more than $1.5 billion for scholarships benefitting students across Arkansas. More than 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education as part of these efforts. As of January 31, 2026, players have received over $5.7 billion in prizes; retailer commissions total more than $473 million; and state and federal tax revenue contributions exceed $424 million.

The lottery encourages responsible play and provides resources for problem gambling through organizations such as the National Problem Gambling Helpline and Gamblers Anonymous.

“Please play responsibly. For help, call or text the National Council on Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700,
