A player won a significant prize in the latest Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing, while another person recently claimed their biggest win to date with an instant game ticket.

A winning NSJ ticket worth $230,000 was purchased at Doublebees #131, located at 100 Dee Dee Lane in Lonoke, during the April 6 drawing. The numbers on the winning ticket were 11, 22, 23, 30, and 32. The winner has yet to come forward and has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize. The NSJ jackpot has reset to $50,000 for the next drawing.

In another lottery success, William C. of Beebe won $50,000 playing the $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on April 4. William purchased his lucky ticket at Cash’s #4470, located at 607 Highway 65 N. in Dumas, while traveling in Arkansas.

William, who plays the lottery weekly, usually buys $5, $10, and $20 tickets without a preferred seller or ticket choice. Instead, he relies on chance. His consistent approach typically yields small wins, but this time he discovered a $50,000 top prize ticket. He initially doubted its authenticity until his wife encouraged him to verify the win at the ASL Claim Center.

“I just say, ‘Pick me something!’” William told lottery officials. “I have no strategy.”

“There’s no way—there’s no way!” William exclaimed upon realizing his win.

“Why wouldn’t it be real?” William’s wife asked. Eventually, William collected his winnings and plans to use them for his business.

“I just still can’t believe it’s real,” the lucky winner shared.

Fifty-nine top prizes of $50,000 remain in the $50,000 Frenzy game.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) has been operating since 2009, focusing on funding education for students in Arkansas. The lottery has sold over $7.8 billion in tickets and contributed more than $1.4 billion for scholarships. Furthermore, more than 822,000 scholarships have been awarded through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. The ASL is also notable for paying out over $5 billion in prizes and generating substantial retailer commissions and tax revenue for the state.
