The NFIB Arkansas PAC has announced its endorsement of 110 candidates for the upcoming Arkansas General Assembly elections. This includes 29 candidates for the Senate and 81 for the House of Representatives.
NFIB State Director Katie Burns emphasized the importance of small businesses to the state's economy, stating, "Locally-owned businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities." She noted that a recent survey highlighted rising costs as a significant issue for small business owners. Burns added, "Main Street Arkansans need strong advocates in Little Rock," highlighting that these endorsed candidates understand the challenges faced by small business owners and are committed to policy solutions that facilitate business operations in Arkansas.
Burns expressed pride in announcing these endorsements on behalf of NFIB's small business owner members and urged all Arkansans to support these pro-small business candidates in the 2024 general election.
Early voting is set to begin on Monday, October 21, with General Election Day scheduled for Tuesday, November 5. Information on voter registration can be found on the Secretary of State’s website.
The endorsement from NFIB Arkansas PAC is considered influential due to the active participation of small business owners and their networks in elections. The organization's political support is based on candidates' positions and records concerning key small-business issues.
