Arkansas: Not-for-profit executives at St. Vincent Medical Group earn fifth highest cumulative salary in 2020

Genbusiness010

St. Vincent Medical Group paid the fifth highest amount to executives among Arkansas not-for-profit organizations in 2020, according to Non-Profit Light.

Executives at the Little Rock-based organization earned $6,624,391 in 2020.

Little Rock-based St. Vincent Medical Group amassed $116,161,384 in the tax year ending in 2020, spending $132,592,811.

It is one of 440 not-for-profit organizations registered in Arkansas.

How not-for-profit executives and staff are paid is an issue consistently under the microscope.

“We urge donors to be wary of charities that pay salaries hovering near or above $1 million,” Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator, said. “The purpose of a charity is to provide a public benefit. Every donor and tax payer subsidizes the charitable sector with that purpose in mind, not creating a class of millionaire CEOs.”
