ROBINSON MANEUVER TRAINING CENTER, Command Sergeant Major Steven Veazey, senior enlisted leader for the Arkansas National Guard; Maj. Gen. Kendall Penn, Arkansas' adjutant general; and Senior Airman Brianna Love, 189th Airlift Wing, ceremonially cut a birthday cake here Dec. 13, 2022, to celebrate the National Guard's 386th birthday. Veazey is the oldest Soldier, and Love is the youngest Airman.
The cake cutting ceremony was preceded by an Oath of Enlistment ceremony for a group of local high school students and three Air National Guardsmen who chose to reenlist on the National Guard Birthday. The adjutant general led the Soldiers and Airmen through swearing in their oath of enlistment.
