ARKANSAS ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE: Rutledge Celebrates Appeals Court Injunction Against Biden’s Illegal Student Loan Cancellation

Breaking News the 8th Circuit has issued an order stopping the Biden Administration from categorically canceling student loan debt. Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge issued a statement following the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit’s order granting the state coalition’s motion for an injunction against the Biden Administration in its attempt to categorically cancel student loan debt. The decision comes after Arkansas co-led a coalition of states in filing a lawsuit in September against President Joe Biden, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona and the U.S. Department of Education for violating federal law, the constitutional principle of separation of powers and the Administrative Procedure Act.Read more here:
