Arkansas Northeastern College issued the following announcement on June 13.
ANC hosted its 5th annual Skill Days — “Skills Days 2022: Perfecting through Practice” for Mississippi County Hospital Systems Nursing Employees from both Great River Medical Center & Southeast Medical Center. Skills Days is an event that offers an evidence-based training opportunity for nurses to review everyday skills in order to provide the highest quality competent skill level for the patients they serve. The skills for this year’s Skills Days were: High Alert Medications and Chemical Compounding, Infection Control, Vascular Access, Trach Care, and Blood Administration/Blood Warmer. The skills selected were based on research, trends, and needs in healthcare, as well as employee suggestions.
