Arkansas Adjutant General issued the following announcement on April 12.
Arkansas Air National Guard Master Sgt. Jason Hanna, a crew chief in the 189th Airlift Wing Arkansas Air National Guard, observes maintenance practices of the Guatemalan air force during a recent visit of Arkansas Air and Army National Guard members to the country as part of the State Partnership Program.
By improving maintenance practices and documentation, the Guatemalan air force can safely operate their aircraft and reduce the risk of events that could impact the lives of citizens in critical humanitarian missions.
Through SPP, the National Guard conducts military-to-military engagements in support of defense security goals but also leverages whole-of-society relationships and capabilities to facilitate broader interagency and corollary engagements spanning military, government, economic and social spheres.
