Northern Arkansas Telephone Co issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.
NATCO's workforce has always been made up of incredible women who are crucial to keeping our ship afloat and progressing. That history goes all the way back to 70 years ago with Millie Sanders (pictured seated). Millie and her husband Ray purchased the telephone company in 1951. Among the many hats she wore, Mille was NATCO's first switchboard operator. She genuinely adored her work and for nearly 50 years, she brought a liveliness to our company and community.
Happy International Women's Day!
