Northern Arkansas Telephone Co issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
Once again, our service area is in the path of winter weather. And just like last time, we are ready. Icy conditions could lead to damaged aerial power and telephone lines. We are organizing our facilities for power outages and service interruptions by preparing portable generators in addition to our existing backup power, and our fuel reserves are full.
Please contact us if you notice low-hanging or broken telephone wires in our service area. Our after-hours repair line for downed wires can be reached at 800.775.6682 or locally at 870.453.8800, option 1.
