Northern Arkansas Telephone Co issued the following announcement on Feb. 8.

Come join our Engineering team!

We are looking for a Plant Assigner to join our Engineering Team. Ideal applicants would have experience with OSP facilities, cable assignment for both fiber and copper facilities, and electronics assignment experience. CAD design/drafting experience preferred.

Our Plant Assigner is responsible for:

• Accurate engineering and assigning of locations for all new service order activity and moves.

• Plant assignments and assignment of cable for new locations, new cables and existing locations.

• Ability to use a CAD/GIS system and assignments in AdTran and Calix.

• Maintaining plant records to include input, drafting and facilities database administration.

Qualified candidates for this position should:

• Pass a background check and drug test. This is a safety sensitive position.

• Have a high school diploma or GED.

• Have a valid driver license with no major violations.

• Understand communication technologies, new technologies in the market and industry changes.

• Demonstrate analytical reasoning ability.

• Communicate with customers effectively and professionally.
