Arkansas County – AR issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
According to Career Explorer, the average starting salary of a police officer is little more than $23,000, which equates to about $11 an hour. This despite 247WallSt ranking Arkansas as the 4th most dangerous state in the country, with the 8th highest murder rate, the 2nd highest rate of rape, and the 4th highest rate of aggravated assault. #ARcounties #arlawenforcement
