Arkansas Department of Education - Company C issued the following announcement on Nov.13.
Arkansas teachers and education co-op and higher education representatives served on a standards revision committee for the Pre-Educator program of study. This CTE program of study is offered to high school students and leads to the Certified Teaching Assistant credential, which is an eligibility requirement for the Arkansas Teacher Residency model (launching in fall 2022). Students will have the opportunity to earn up to nine hours of college credit by completing this program of study.
