Arkansas Attorney General's Office issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.
REMINDER Starting today Oct. 25, if you live in the 501 you will need to dial the full ten-digit number -- including area code -- for all local calls.
This mandatory change by Federal Communication Commission will allow for the implementation of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 988.
