Arkansas Auditor of State issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
More than 80,000 U.S. soldiers have been reported still missing in action, most from World War II and a majority believed to be in the Asia-Pacific.
On POW/MIA Recognition Day, we remember these soldiers. Efforts to identify them and bring them home remain consistent.
