Northern Arkansas Telephone Co issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.
Northern Arkansas Telephone Company, Inc. (NATCO) announces the September release of the 2021-2022 Ozark Regional Directory.
The publication is more than a phone book; the Ozark Regional Directory is the area's #1 resource for area business information. While other books are shrinking, NATCO has maintained one of the most comprehensive guides to the South Shore Region of the Bull Shoals Lake with over 2,500 local businesses and organizations listed.
The book also includes helpful information about the local communities for both current residents and tourists to the area. Families and retirees relocating to north central Arkansas rely heavily on the directory as it serves as a consolidated source for community and business information.
The impact of the Ozark Regional Directory is wide-reaching both locally and nationally. NATCO mails the Ozark Regional Directory to over 17,000 addresses in Marion, Boone, and Baxter counties. They distribute the books year-round at locations across the three counties in businesses, realty offices, and Chambers of Commerce. NATCO also mails directories to anyone inquiring about our area through the South Shore Foundation, putting this directory into the hands of families all over the nation.
The COVID-19 pandemic has troubled small businesses across the country, but NATCO has continued to see a steady stream of local companies seeking representation and advertising in the community through the Ozark Regional Directory. "Our book supports the area businesses who are vital to the economic health of our region," noted Steven Sanders, President and General Manager of NATCO. He added, "We're proud to be producing a successful directory, and we hope the book is a resource for our business partners as well as the residents and visitors to this area."
New directories will begin mailing in the second week of September or can be picked up at one of the following locations:

- Lead Hill: City Hall
