Arkansas Access to Justice Commission issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
This weekend the federal eviction moratorium expired. This leaves thousands of Arkansans vulnerable to homelessness. Fortunately, there's rent assistance available, but tenants need help applying for it. Legal aid can help tenants navigate the legal process and get the time they need to apply for rental assistance. This helps tenants stay in their homes and landlords get paid.
