Coverpage effectiveness of corporate training

Arkansas Northeastern College issued the following announcement on July 14.

The W.O.R.K. Program is designed to lift unemployed, local residents living in poverty out of poverty and help them find a job. 

The program provides individuals with the necessary skills and support network to access job opportunities.

Topics Covered:

· Work & Workplace Ethics

· Interpersonal Communication

· Team Theory

· Problem Solving

· Introduction to Quality Concepts

· Math Skills to Include Measurement

· Literacy Skills Review

· Resume Writing

· Interviewing Skills

· Employee Safety

· First Aid & CPR

· Opportunity for Plant Tours

Completers of the WORK Program will have the

opportunity to obtain the following:

· Three hours of ANC credit for the Workplace Essentials Course

· Credit for the 10-hour OSHA training

· An American Heart Association CPR card

· A Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)
