Census Bureau: More women than men in Arkansas in 2019

Of the 2,999,370 people living in Arkansas in 2019, 50.9 percent (1,527,610) were women and 49.1 percent (1,471,760) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Natural State News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 16,296. In the 65 and over age range, there were 277,151 females and 221,627 males.
