Sherry Rolsma, the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce’s director of WalStreet and Major Investor Engagement, has moved on to serve as vice president of Membership and Major Investment Engagement for the Chamber.
A member of the Chamber since 2018, Rolsma helped to provide local retail businesses with professional development opportunities in her previous position, according to a Chamber press release. She also played an important role during the pandemic as someone who helped to ensure connections were made among stakeholders including Chamber members, local leaders and businesses to help make sure certain business owners had support to weather the changing economy.
“I am deeply humbled to serve the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber in this new capacity as we continue to serve our members, refining our product and increasing the return on member investment,” Rolsma said in the release. “Retention and expansion of our member businesses in Bentonville is key to our collective economic success. This role will help us strengthen lines of communication with our members, continuing to be entrusted with their needs and help them achieve their goals.”
Graham Cobb, Chamber president and CEO, said that the organization’s mission begins with providing service to its members, especially in the dynamic and evolving economy that has developed following the early days of the pandemic.
Additionally, Cobb said that he was both excited and proud to be able to bring Rolsma into her new role serving the Chambers membership.
“Over the past two and half years, she has shown unwavering support of our local businesses and vendor community through a consistent cadence of developing deep connections with our members, assessing their needs, and enhancing the value of their Chamber membership,” Cobb said in the release. “Sherry joining this leadership team will pay dividends as we work to enhance our delivery of services and value to members.”
