The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office announced on Apr. 22 the arrest of Delfino Mora, a 22-year-old resident of Palestine, Arkansas, in connection with a residential burglary and theft case from December 2025.

Mora was taken into custody without incident after being stopped as a passenger in a vehicle by a St. Francis County Deputy. He faces charges including residential burglary and theft of property (firearms), both classified as Class B felonies, as well as criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor.

Authorities said the investigation began when the victim reported that several firearms had been stolen from their home while they were out of town. The victim suspected an individual and visited a residence where that person had stayed. Although the person was not present at the time, the homeowner reportedly told her that Mora had brought over a gun to keep there. After describing the firearm, it was returned to her by the homeowner.

Investigators identified Mora and two others allegedly involved in the burglary; arrest warrants have been issued for those individuals as well. Following his arrest, Mora appeared before a judge and his bond was set at $100,000.
