The Arkansas Highway Police conducted their annual in-service training in Rogers from June 25 to June 29. The event concluded with recognition on Saturday night, where Sergeant Joseph Beggs was awarded the Grand Champion Overall title. Sergeant Beggs will now represent Arkansas at the North American Inspectors Championship (NAIC) in August, which will be held in Minneapolis.

NAIC is known for testing, recognizing, and awarding excellence among commercial motor vehicle inspectors. Participants receive training on current safety trends, technologies, standards, and inspection procedures while exchanging insights and experiences with fellow inspectors. The competition includes various challenges such as inspection tasks and interview tests, showcasing the skill and dedication of the officers involved.
