A resident of Pulaski County, Arkansas, recently walked away with a significant prize from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. E. Withers secured a $200,000 win playing the Ultimate Riches, a $10 instant scratch-off game, claiming his prize on April 17.

The ticket was purchased at Roosevelt Shell, a convenience store located at 700 E. Roosevelt Road in Little Rock. Withers, a regular participant in daily lottery games, chose to try his luck on the Ultimate Riches once again after his wife won $50 the previous day playing the same game.

To Withers’ surprise, the first row of his purchased ticket revealed the $200,000 top prize. “I was so surprised because I just couldn’t believe it,” Withers shared with the lottery officials, adding, “Oh, she didn’t believe me!” when he first told his wife about the win. Eventually, he managed to convince her by showing the winning ticket.

While Withers celebrates his win, the Ultimate Riches game still holds over $945,000 in total cash prizes, including one $10,000 reward and a $5,000 prize. This instant game is available from licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailers.

About the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, since its inception in 2009, the lottery has sold over $7.8 billion in tickets, contributing more than $1.4 billion for scholarships. Over 770,000 college scholarships have been awarded to Arkansas students through this funding.
