Public meeting set for Highway 49 bridge rehabilitation plans

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is organizing a public meeting to discuss the proposed rehabilitation plans for the Highway 49 Mississippi River Bridge. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It will take place at the Phillips Community College, Hendrix Fine Arts Center Community Room in Helena, Arkansas.

Meeting materials are available online, and attendees can submit comments until Friday, November 21. A Spanish translation of the website is also provided. Comments can be submitted through an online form or by mailing a printed form to ARDOT’s Environmental Division in Little Rock.
