Jackpots for both in-state and multi-state lottery games are increasing ahead of Wednesday night’s draws. The Powerball jackpot has reached $850 million for the August 27 drawing, making it the seventh-largest in the game’s history. This marks the 38th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner, approaching Powerball’s record streak of 42 draws.

So far this year, five Powerball jackpots have been won, with the most recent being $204.5 million in May. In Arkansas, two players have each won at least $100,000 from Powerball prizes in 2025.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Players must match all five white balls and the red Powerball to win the top prize.

The Arkansas-only LOTTO game also continues to grow, with its jackpot now at $931,000 for Wednesday night’s draw. LOTTO is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., requiring players to match six numbers between 1 and 40 to win the jackpot. A Bonus Number is also drawn, offering additional ways to win smaller prizes for those who match three or more numbers.

Recent winners include a Yell County resident who claimed a $5.123 million LOTTO jackpot and a Sebastian County resident who won $2.338 million.
