The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $629 million ahead of Saturday’s drawing, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Players need to match all six winning numbers to claim the top prize, though smaller prizes are available for matching fewer numbers.
In Arkansas this year, nineteen players have won Powerball prizes exceeding $500, with seven individuals securing at least $50,000 each.
Powerball tickets are priced at $2 per play. Ticket sales close at 8:59 p.m. on the night of each drawing. An optional Power Play feature is available for an additional $1 per ticket; this multiplier can increase non-jackpot winnings by up to ten times and offers a maximum payout of $2 million.
Tickets can be purchased from licensed retailers or through retailer apps affiliated with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s Play on the Go partners. More information about these options is available on the Where To Play page of the ASL website.
