Arkansas lottery players have a chance to win significant prizes with the upcoming Saturday night drawings. The Powerball jackpot for August 30 has grown to $1 billion, making it the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the sixth time the prize has reached a billion dollars.

Powerball draws are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m., with ticket sales ending an hour before each drawing. Each play costs $2. To win the top prize, participants must match all five white balls plus the red Powerball number.

In addition to Powerball, the Arkansas-exclusive LOTTO game will offer a $955,000 jackpot on Saturday night. LOTTO drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Players select six numbers; matching all six wins the jackpot. Additional prizes are available for those who match three or more numbers, regardless of whether they include the Bonus Number.

Tickets for both games can be purchased from licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailers or through retailer apps provided by Play on the Go partners. More information about these options is available on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website (https://myarkansaslottery.com/where-to-play).

Since its launch in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has generated over $8 billion in sales and contributed more than $1.5 billion to scholarships benefiting students across Arkansas. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using these funds. The lottery has also paid out over $5.5 billion in prizes to players and provided substantial revenue through retailer commissions and tax contributions.

Players can find additional details about scholarships, winners, games, odds, promotions, and join The Club for free at MyArkansasLottery.com (https://myarkansaslottery.com/). Responsible gaming resources are also available through national helplines.

The Office of the Arkansas Lottery advises that official results are only validated by their central gaming system and confirmed by their Executive Director before any prizes are paid out. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
