The Powerball jackpot for tonight’s drawing has reached $1.1 billion, making it the sixth-largest in the history of the game. This current jackpot has rolled over for 43 consecutive drawings since September, setting a new record for the most consecutive drawings in a single jackpot cycle.

Powerball draws are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Players select five numbers between 1 and 69 and one Powerball number between 1 and 26. The jackpot is won by matching all six numbers.

Tickets are sold at $2 per play. An additional $1 allows players to add the Power Play multiplier, which can increase non-jackpot prizes by up to ten times. Players who match five numbers can win as much as $2 million with the Power Play option. Ticket sales end at 8:59 p.m. on draw nights.

In Arkansas, tickets are available from licensed lottery retailers and through retailer apps via ASL’s Play on the Go partners. More information about these options is available on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) has generated more than $8 billion in sales since its inception in 2009 and returned over $1.5 billion for scholarships benefiting students across the state. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using lottery funds. The lottery reports that it has paid out more than $5.6 billion in prizes to players, given over $467 million in commissions to retailers, and contributed more than $190 million in state and federal tax revenue.
