The Powerball jackpot has reached $1.3 billion, ranking as the fifth-largest in Powerball history and the ninth-largest among U.S. draw game jackpots. The previous Powerball jackpot, valued at $204.5 million, was claimed in late May.

Mega Millions, another multi-state lottery game, currently offers a $302 million jackpot for its next drawing. In April, Mega Millions introduced changes designed to improve player odds and increase non-jackpot prizes, now ranging from $10 to $10 million due to a new multiplier feature.

In Arkansas, the state-exclusive LOTTO game’s jackpot has grown to $983,000 for tomorrow’s drawing, approaching the $1 million mark. Past winners have come from Yell County, Sebastian County and Pulaski County.

Tickets for these games are available at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailers and through retailer apps associated with ASL’s Play on the Go partners. Additional information about Play on the Go options can be found on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.

Two winning Powerball tickets sold in Arkansas remain unclaimed. A ticket worth $150,000 was purchased at Circle K Store 2709963 in Bryant for the September 1 draw with numbers 8, 23, 24, 40 and 53; the Powerball number was 5 and the multiplier was 3. Another ticket worth $50,000 was sold at M & M Quik Stop #2 in Lewisville for the August 27 drawing with numbers 9, 12, 22, 41 and 61; the Powerball number was 25 and the multiplier was 4. Winners have up to 180 days from their respective draw dates to claim their prizes.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has generated over $8 billion in sales since its inception in 2009 and contributed more than $1.5 billion toward scholarships for students across Arkansas. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using these funds.
