Pavement operations on Interstate 30 in Saline County will lead to temporary exit ramp closures from 9 p.m. on Monday, June 30, until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1. The overnight striping work will cause alternating closures of several exit ramps along I-30, weather permitting.

The work will start on the westbound side of I-30, with each ramp closed for about one hour. After completing the westbound ramps, crews will move to the eastbound ramps. No two ramps will be closed simultaneously. Signs will be posted ahead of each closure, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during these times.

The affected ramps include Exit 116 at Sevier Street/South Street, Exit 114 at Highway 67/Highway 229, and Exit 111 at Highway 70. Traffic control measures such as construction barrels and signage will be in place. The public is advised to exercise caution in the work zone and expect slower traffic speeds. Noise impacts may occur in areas near the Interstate during nighttime hours.

This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and involves widening a 5.5-mile stretch of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction from U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). Improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114) are also included. More details about this $187.3 million project can be found at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
