Jamie Mann of Mountain Home won $120,000 in the April 3 Natural State Jackpot drawing, according to an announcement on April 9. Mann claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on April 7.

The win is notable as it marks a significant payout for a daily lottery player who typically prefers draw games and sometimes instant tickets. The winning ticket was purchased at 403 Highway 62 E. in Mountain Home with numbers 7, 13, 16, 20 and 37.

Mann bought a Quick Pick ticket using computer-generated numbers and discovered his win days later after seeing a Facebook post that the winning ticket had been sold locally. While at work, he checked his numbers and realized he had matched all five required to claim the jackpot. “Wow!” Mann thought upon learning of his win.

After confirming the news, Mann shared it first with his office manager. He said he plans to use the prize money for several ongoing projects.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery reported that tonight’s Natural State Jackpot stands at $75,000. Since its inception in 2009, the lottery has awarded over $5.7 billion in prizes to players and returned more than $1.6 billion for scholarships benefiting Arkansas students.
