The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $800 million, marking the largest prize since changes to the game were introduced in April. Drawings for Mega Millions are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 9:45 p.m. Each play costs $5.

Players select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 24. The jackpot is awarded to anyone who matches all six numbers. Other prizes range from $10 up to $10 million, depending on the number of matches and any applicable multipliers.

Following recent updates to the game, Arkansas lottery players have continued to claim significant prizes. For the October 31 drawing, four tickets worth at least $600 each were sold in Little Rock, Cabot, and Calico Rock. The winning numbers for that draw were 2, 24, 52, 66, and 68 with a Mega Ball of 9.

Tickets can be purchased at licensed retailers throughout Arkansas or through retailer apps provided by Play on the Go partners. More information about these purchasing options is available on the Where to Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.

Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) has generated over $8 billion in sales and contributed more than $1.5 billion toward scholarships for students in Arkansas. According to ASL figures, over 822,000 college scholarships have been distributed by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using these funds. The lottery has also awarded more than $5.5 billion in player prizes and paid out over $462 million in commissions to retailers while generating more than $188 million in tax revenue for state and federal governments.

The ASL encourages responsible gaming practices and provides resources such as the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-522-4700), www.ncpgambling.org, and Gamblers Anonymous at www.gamblersanonymous.org for those seeking assistance.

The Office of the Arkansas Lottery states: “The Office of the Arkansas Lottery (OAL) makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided on all of its websites including social media accounts; however, neither the OAL nor its employees shall be liable for any actions taken or omissions made from reliance on any information contained on or linked to an OAL website from any source.” They further clarify that official results must be verified through their central gaming system before prizes are paid out: “Winning numbers posted on the websites or social media accounts are unofficial numbers and all winning tickets must be verified and validated by the OAL through use of its central gaming system and by the Executive Director before prizes will be paid.”

Players must be at least 18 years old to participate.
