The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $547 million, making it the largest for the game since last year. The next drawing will be held tonight at 10 p.m. Players must match all six numbers to win the jackpot, which resets to $50 million once claimed.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery with tickets costing $5 per play. A new multiplier feature allows players to win up to $10 million in non-jackpot prizes. Ticket sales end at 9:45 p.m., and purchases can be made at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers or through approved retailer apps.
Last week, eleven Arkansas residents won more than $500 each from Mega Millions drawings. The winning tickets were sold in several cities across the state, including Magazine, Jonesboro, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs Village, Lonoke, Higden, Maumelle and Springdale. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.
Since its launch in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has generated over $8 billion in ticket sales and contributed more than $1.5 billion toward scholarships for students in Arkansas. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. The lottery has also distributed more than $5.5 billion in player prizes and provided significant funds to retailers and tax revenue.
