Jackpots for both Mega Millions and the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) are increasing as the next drawings approach. The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $714 million. Drawings for this multi-state game occur every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m., with tickets priced at $5 per play. Ticket sales close at 9:45 p.m. on draw nights.
Since changes to the game in April, 98 players in Arkansas have claimed prizes of $500 or more from Mega Millions. In the October 24 drawing, eight individuals won at least $600 each, with winning tickets sold in several cities including Pine Bluff, Conway, Searcy, Bella Vista, Little Rock, Jonesboro, Ozark, and Hot Springs.
The NSJ jackpot for tonight’s drawing is set at $480,000. This lottery is exclusive to Arkansas and is drawn daily at 8 p.m., with tickets available for $1 per play until 7:59 p.m.
Tickets for both games can be purchased through licensed retailers or via retailer apps from Play on the Go partners. Further information about these options can be found on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) states that it has sold over $8 billion since its inception in 2009 and contributed more than $1.5 billion towards scholarships benefiting students across the state. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded through ASL programs by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Additionally, more than $5.5 billion has been paid out in prizes to players and more than $462 million distributed as commissions to retailers.
