The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery announced on April 1 that the LOTTO jackpot has reached $1.102 million for the evening’s drawing, marking the fourth time since its launch in 2022 that the prize has surpassed $1 million.

The rising jackpot highlights growing interest among Arkansas players, as LOTTO is an exclusive game available only within the state. The lottery said several residents have won second-tier prizes of $25,000 this year, including a recent winner from Sebastian County.

LOTTO drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., with players selecting six numbers between one and forty plus a Bonus Number. To win the top prize, participants must match all six main numbers drawn in any order. If more than one player matches all six numbers, the jackpot is divided equally among winners. After each win, the jackpot resets to $250,000 and increases with each subsequent draw if not claimed.

Tickets cost $2 per play and can be purchased at licensed retailers or through retailer apps associated with Play on the Go partners. Ticket sales close at 8:59 p.m. on draw nights. More information about playing options can be found on MyArkansasLottery.com/LOTTO.

Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery reports over $8 billion in sales and more than $1.6 billion returned for scholarships benefiting students across Arkansas. As of February 28, over $5.7 billion has been awarded to players in prizes while retailers have earned more than $476 million in commissions and state and federal tax revenue contributions exceed $425 million.

Players are reminded to check official sources for winning numbers as website postings are unofficial until validated by lottery officials through their central gaming system.
