The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery announced on March 27 that the LOTTO jackpot has climbed to $1.078 million for the drawing scheduled on March 28.

The increase in the jackpot gives Arkansas players another opportunity to win a significant prize. This weekend’s prize is now the fourth largest since LOTTO began in 2022, and five Arkansans have previously claimed jackpots from this game.

LOTTO is played exclusively in Arkansas, with drawings held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Players select six numbers between one and forty plus a Bonus Number. To win the top prize, participants must match all six main numbers drawn. Other prizes are available for those who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the Bonus Number, offering winnings up to $25,000 per ticket.

In the most recent drawing on Wednesday night, there were six winners of $500 each among a total of 2,097 winners overall.

Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery reports over $8 billion in sales and more than $1.6 billion returned for scholarships benefiting students across the state. Over 873,000 college scholarships have been awarded through these funds as distributed by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. As of February 28 this year, lottery players have received over $5.7 billion in prizes while retailers earned more than $476 million in commissions and state and federal tax revenue exceeded $425 million.

Players are reminded that official results are verified by lottery officials before any prizes are paid out and must be at least eighteen years old to participate.
