Little Rock men’s golf received five selections to the All-Ohio Valley Conference teams, according to an April 25 announcement. Sophomore Ed Featherstone was named to the first team, highlighting a strong season for the Trojans.

The recognition places Little Rock as a leading program in the conference this year. The team had three players—Featherstone, Rhett South, and freshman Viggo Talasmaki—named to the first team. Mark Stockdale earned spots on both the All-OVC First Team and All-Newcomer Team, while Elliott Simonsen was selected for both the second team and newcomer honors.

Head coach Austin Eoff said, “Really pleased for the guys to be recognized for their performances this season. Obviously, Ed has had a breakout season, but it is great to see Mark, Rhett, Elliott and Viggo be recognized for their performances as well.”

Featherstone emphasized teamwork ahead of postseason play: “It’s a great honor to be recognized, but for us it’s all about what we do this week,” Featherstone said. “We’ve put ourselves in a good position, and now it’s about going out and finishing the job.”

Eoff added that while awards are important, winning remains their main goal: “Awards and recognition are great, but we are here for the trophy at the end of the week, and our focus is set on that.” The Trojans will compete in the OVC Championship starting Sunday in West Lafayette as they aim to defend their title.
