Kansas Department of Transportation recognizes employee service anniversaries in May

The Kansas Department of Transportation announced on April 24 its appreciation for employees celebrating state service anniversaries in May. The department said it is proud to acknowledge these individuals for their long-term dedication to the state of Kansas.

Employees recognized for 35 years of service include Mark Maddux, Field Data Engineer from Carbondale. Those marking 30 years are Marcus Leck, Highway Maintenance Superintendent from Neodesha; Craig Morton, Network Service Technician III from Topeka; and Becky Welsh, Public Service Administrator III from Oskaloosa.

Celebrating 25 years are Daniel Crosland, Engineering Data Manager from Topeka; Linda Guillen, Engineering Technician from Wichita; and Gregory Schieber, Deputy Secretary/State Transportation Engineer from Topeka. For 20 years of service, Blair Heptig, Professional Civil Engineer II from Topeka was recognized.

Employees with 15 years include Laura Bohnenkemper, Information Resource Planning/Project Manager from Topeka and Christopher Eichman, Environmental Program Administrator also from Topeka. Those with a decade of service are Matthew Gerber, Engineering Technician Specialist from Chanute; Matthew Heinze, Highway Maintenance Worker IV from Ellsworth; Loren McMillan, Highway Maintenance Worker III from Topeka; and Darren Volkel, Engineering Technician from Great Bend.
